Rosa Oliveira is a Portuguese philosophy teacher in Porto Santo Island, Madeira. She works in Museu de Porto Santo with students of various ages, and in the social project "Universidade Sénior do Porto Santo" (informal education) for older people. She believes that philosophical practice serves to clarify one's personal identity and develop authentic intervention skills in the world.
