Nobody solved Puzzle #5. The correct answers are:

 GROUP 1: Those thinkers were all existentialists. (Gabriel Marcel, Jean-Paul Sartre, Karl Jaspers, Soren Kierkegaard, Friedrich Nietzsche, Albert Camus)

GROUP 2: Those thinkers were all Jewish by birth (Walter Benjamin, Edmond Husserl, Emmanuel Levinas, Martin Buber, Spinoza, Henri Bergson)

GROUP 3: Those thinkers were all killed by somebody. (Giordano Bruno was burnt by the Church; Mohandas Gandhi was shot by a Hindu nationalist; Moritz Schlick was shot by a deranged student; Seneca was forced to commit suicide; Socrates was executed by the state of Athens.) (Note that Albert Camus from Group 1 was killed in a car accident, but not killed by somebody.)
