What is "Philosophical" in philosophical counseling?

Ran Lahav has been a philosophical counselor and practitioner for the past 22 years, counseling individuals and leading self-reflection groups in Israel and the USA. In 1992 he started teaching the first university course of philosophical counseling in the world, at Haifa University. He envisioned the First International Conference of Philosophical Practice, and co-organized it in 1994. He has published articles and books in the field.
